The Don't Stop Writing Tour didn't stop... for anyone.
Now it's over after seven days of conferences in Windsor and New York City. I even won a small award in Windsor for a writing contest on food. A Taco Stain With A Happy Ending and the latest short fiction idea unearthed.
The writing conference in Windsor was interactive with so many ways to get feedback and talk to professionals. The writing conference in New York City was more intense and jam-packed. I took the Master CraftFest class to take storytelling to the next level and I did so. But the mentor of the class was trying to sell his books, which was slightly annoying. I read One Last Man and even got in a conversation with a Princeton native about the book. He thought it was common knowledge that there were no tanks in prison camps in WWII. I told him that I didn't know since I wasn't in WWII. Buddy was slightly older.
Cheers to one hell of a road trip.
