When There's More Time To Fart Around
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” ― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
I won't read with my eyes shut; but with more time comes more reading, because I keep my eyes wide open all the time. And there's much more time to write, but where do I begin? I remember how relieved I felt when Roy Moore lost the senate race; and yet, I wanted to hear more about Moore and it fueled some terrible puns.
So maybe the plan will lead in different directions, playing with model trains or taking piano lessons. One step at a time, I'm taking this chapter of my life very seriously. I want to re-organize a draft from a novel-in-progress. I want to keep motivated, but I'm already feeling the pressure not to waste the time. One fart at a time.
Tick-tock, tick--tock. How precious it is. But with seconds beating faster, so does my heart, and I want to type from the wings of my heart-strings and imagine I'm the witness writing everything down from years of living on this planet.
"If the American people understood the real character of Alger Hiss, they would boil him in oil." ― Whittaker Chambers. When there's not enough espionage or a story hasn't been fleshed out enough or characters aren't fully understood, it's disappointing to the reader. Type the old-fashioned way, but use a digital stopwatch.
The creativity is abound from farting around.
